New BioChip Surface-Coating Agent (Pico-Glide) Launched

Via its global distributor partner, The Dolomite Centre, Sphere Fluidics has now launched another new specialist chemical called “Pico-Glide”. “This agent was specially formulated to ensure improved picodroplet performance and stability in biological assays in both polymer and glass chips”, said Dr Xin Li, a Principal Scientist at Sphere Fluidics, and one of the chemists who developed this new agent.

Sphere Fluidics to Attend British Mass Spectrometry Society Annual Meeting

Dr Clive Smith, a Principal Scientist from Sphere Fluidics will be attending the British Mass Spectrometry Society Annual Meeting on 16th-18th April, 2012 in Alderley Park, UK. “We have been working on novel technology that enables ultrahighthroughput mass spectrometry analysis of biosample libraries in picodroplets.
