Sphere Fluidics will be exhibiting at BIO2013

Sphere Fluidics will be attending and exhibiting at the UK Pavilion at Bio2013 in Chicago on 22nd-25th April, 2013. “Bio2013 is always enjoyable as we can combine biopartnering as well as meeting some new customers at our booth. This year we will be launching some new products at the show as well as promoting the Company’s activity via advertising in BioTech Daily”, said Dr Frank F. Craig (Sphere Fluidics’ CEO). Conference information can be found here.

Sphere Fluidics co-authors on Pioneering Paper on High-Throughput, Mass Spectrometry in Analytical Chemistry

Drs Clive Smith and Xin Li (Principal Scientists at Sphere Fluidics Limited) were co-authors on a pioneering paper on the use of picodroplets for high-throughput mass spectrometry of protein libraries. The work was done in collaboration with Pfizer and Professors Chris Abell and Wilhelm Huck of the University of Cambridge and Radboud University, Nijmegen respectively. The paper is entitled “Sensitive, high throughput detection of proteins in individual, surfactant-stabilised picoliter droplets using nanoelectrospray ionization mass spectrometry”. The paper was published online on March 20th, 2013 and an abstract can be viewed here.
