Sphere Fluidics Files 2 New US and 1 EP Patents


Sphere has filed several new patents on novel microfluidic chip designs for sorting of picodroplets and their analysis by mass spectrometry. Dr Frank F. Craig, the CEO, said “We are very excited about our emerging science base, in particular, the mass spectrometry area in which we are world leaders. We will also be publishing a key scientific paper in this area very shortly. We now have an impressive patent portfolio of 38 patents (with 21 being granted) representing a powerful commercial asset”.
