Sphere Fluidics In-licenses new IP from Cambridge University

Sphere Fluidics has now obtained a worldwide exclusive licence for new picodroplets IP from Cambridge University. Dr Frank F. Craig, CEO, said “We are very pleased to in-licence these patents. One patent family will enable us to use picodroplets for rapid, kinetic analysis of miniaturised, compartmentalised reactions in mass spectrometers. The other patent family will also facilitate new picodroplet applications. These patents are part of our plan to continue to develop a world-class patent portfolio in this emerging area of science”.
