The Cyto-Cellect® Human IgG Kappa and Viability Assay Kit is a multiplex fluorescent assay designed for use with Cyto-Mine® Chroma. It enables high-throughput screening by detecting single-cell antibody secretion while simultaneously assessing cell viability, ensuring the selection of only viable, high-producing cells.

How it works

The fluorescent assay probes co-encapsulate with individual cells into picodroplets within the Cyto-Mine® Chroma system. Inside the picodroplets, these probes detect Human IgG Kappa secretion using Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET) probes, while simultaneously detecting apoptotic markers by Annexin V staining. These fluorescent signals are used to sort and isolate high-producing, viable clones for cell line development workflows.

CO-ENCAPSULATION: Individual cells and fluorescent assay probes are encapsulated in picodroplets inside the Cyto-Mine® Chroma system.
SIMULTANEOUS DETECTION: The assay quantifies antibody secretion and assesses viability within the same picodroplet, distinguishing between high-producing, viable clones and apoptotic or dead cells.
EFFICIENT SELECTION: Non-viable cells are excluded from the workflow, ensuring that only healthy and productive clones progress to downstream development.
