The Role
The company is growing quickly, and we are looking to take on an experienced Senior Assembly Technician to support the Operations team. This role will be mostly laboratory based, with an emphasis on electromechanical assembly, SOP writing and maintaining a well organised workplace. The role will also provide support to the wider Operations team and other areas of the business on an ad-hoc basis.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Assembly Technician to upgrade our advanced Cyto-Mine® single cell analysis and monoclonality assurance system to the latest version. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience with delicate instrumentation assembly and electronics. Previous experience with optical assemblies is desirable, as well as strong troubleshooting and repair skills with the ability to document procedures and write SOPs in real-time. While training will be provided, we seek an individual capable of independent operation with a solid background working with electronic, electromechanical, and advanced laboratory instrumentation. The Senior Assembly Technician will report to the Head of Supply Chain and will assist with various tasks within the Operations group as needed.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, keen to learn and develop new skills, as well as having a keen eye for detail. A structured approach to their work is important, as is excellent adherence to procedures, high quality standards and Health & Safety. Our culture is team orientated and we aspire to achieve operational excellence and the very highest standards of quality in everything we do.
The role of the Senior Assembly Technician is varied and as part of a rapidly growing company there is scope for learning and progression within the business.
